About me
With a background in Graphic Design, I am working in the broad field of User Experience as a GUI and Interaction Designer for websites, web applications and mobile platforms. I am passionate about developing well-thought-out GUI design concepts, preferably for global brands and in a cross-functional team environment.
I have fourteen years of professional experience in the United States and Europe. Since March 2008, I am working as the Creative Director User Experience at Xalmiento in Hamburg.
In addition to my work as a designer, I consult clients and conduct trainings about usability and design, give presentations on trade shows representing Xalmiento, manage projects and teams, and recently published an article about IxDA (Interaction Design Association) and IxD (Interaction Design) in the trade magazine WEAVE.
In April 2010 I founded the local chapter in Hamburg for the IxDA and ever since volunteer as the local leader organizing events and gather the community to exchange knowledge and experiences.
I also do some freelance work for clients in Germany and the US.
