About me
I am a Creative Director UX, Design Manager and Visual & Interaction Designer holding an MA in Graphic Design. During my 16 years of professional experience in the United States and Europe, I worked for clients such as Olympus Europe, the EDEKA Group, ZEIT Online, Axel Springer Verlag, Monster Global, The Seattle Times, and Toyota Europe.
The emphasis in my work lies in the broad field of user experience, design, and branding for digital products such as website, web and mobile applications. I am passionate about creating harmony between functionality and aesthetics, finding the perfect balance between business and user goals to derive a highly usable and successful product.
With the same passion I am utilizing my strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability to help cross-functional and international teams in creating a respectful, fun and prosperous work environment. I consider great communication and the awareness of different social styles as one core key for success.
Besides being the founder and local leader of the IxDA Hamburg chapter, my enthusiastic engagement for the community shows through further activities such as supporting the first inaugural interaction awards as the Co-Chair Outreach Europe for 2012.
